So we tired getting you footage of Heathrow airport, just to show you what to expect when you land at London's gateway...
But due to terrorist activities and highly suspicious BA airport officials and not to mention the police, our efforts were thwarted before we even stepped foot onto airport property.
I think carrying our camera equipment instead of suitcases didn't help the situation as we were quickly pulled aside after getting off the tube at Heathrow by some police dude in uniform carrying a gun!
We were told we needed permission to film inside the airport... I guess this is in case our footage gets into the wrong hands allowing, oh i don’t know...terrorists to see inside the study the airport and work out how to blow it up...
Anyway we have had to give you links to Heathrow’s website and relevant maps to help you orientate yourself for when you arrive.
Depending on your choice of Airline, this will determine what Terminal you will arrive in.
The cheapest and easiest will be catching the Tube from Heathrow Terminal 1-2-3 into the City on the Piccadilly line, which will take 30-45 minutes and cost about £4-5
If you're in a hurry you can catch the Heathrow Express straight to Paddington in around about 15 minutes and cost £14.50.
Buses take about an hour and cost £4.00
We are working on getting you some footage just so you can see it in action, so bare with us but until then hopefully the photos and maps can help. Give us a shout if you’ve got some advice for us.
