my partner and have booked a holiday to bali. we thought we would try agoda to book our first hotel to stay in. We booked at amansari villas in sanur. It was a so-called "flash deal", where the original price of the unit $415? was slashed by 75% to $67 per night- we thought this sounded great and decided to go for it while the deal was still going. after booking, i decided to find amansari villas on the web, and found that every room they had was $70- that there was no %70 off "flash deal". isnt that false advertising-by agoda?? We wanted to make sure that our booking was recieved by amansari-have tried to contact them through email and calling them-with absoultely no reply. so we are worried that we will have no place to stay in as we arrive late at night in bali. So we then tried to email agoda, several times-with absolutely no response-AT ALL. so we both have tried to call the 24hr customer service centre-but the are closed and we seem to be calling them outside there 24hr working times?? Its just a joke. just want to say, that agoda have caused both me and my girlfriend a huge amount of stress. and have practically ruined what should be an exciting part of going holidaying. I dont recommend anyone to use agoda-they are awful,have caused me and my girlfriend so much frustration, to the point that we are argueing about something thats totally out of our hands. This is the first time i have been overseas-They have ruined the start of our holiday, and left us guessing on whether or not we have anywhere to stay at all when we arrive in Bali. So if you want to enjoy your holiday, dont use agoda. I hope everyone sees this and agoda is shut down.
