If you're from the land of the Maple, then im going to try and push you in th right direction for help when moving over to the UK. Our living in london guide however will cater for 90% of your questions and then hopefully our London facebook group will answer some of the others.
But if you're about to be a Canadian in London, then there are some other groups or Canadian specific sites you should join or check out.
The big things, like UK Visas, London accommodation, finding a job in London and the rest are all general so you dont have to fret.
Sites to check out.
www.canuckabroad.com have a great forum for other Cannucks in the UK and resolve a lot of issues others have had when moving over.
www.networkcanada.org is a paid membership site that allows you to be a part of organised events in London specifically for other Canadians.
www.canadianforex.com allows you to send your hard saved cash over to a friends, or your own UK bank account once you set it up. You get two free transfers from this site.
But for everything else, just check out the rest of your site and of course if ya need personal questions answered, give us a hollar.
