Hammersmith
Help us get the borough moving

It’s actually pretty far out of London, farther than I thought.
Along the way, we saw a lot of information about the London Olympics in 2012, and of course we saw the Linford Christie Center. Sadly, we couldn’t go inside because it was being revamped.
There were a few local, traditional English pubs, and we went into one to enjoy a drink and a meal. We also saw a great sandwich shop that had a fast-food stand inside. It was called Roast, and it sold a roll made of pork belly and crackling that was to die for! We went there every morning for a snack.
When the kids decided they wanted Chinese food, it didn’t take us long to find a wonderful Chinese restaurant. It was called Thai Fu. It had a traditional buffet, which was reasonably priced. The restaurant was perfect for just anybody. We didn’t feel out of place like you can in some Chinese restaurants. The staff was also super friendly.
