We've got a great guest blogger today. Colleen Wagner from Relocation London talks about what Relocation London does and how it can help people relocating to the UK.

Thanks Belle, Well I'm really glad I've got the opportunity to chat to you guys about how we help you relocate to London.

London Relocation Ltd. offers a unique approach to relocating individuals to the UK.  Based on a 1-day viewing model, our business expedites the flat-finding process by providing our clients with a spectrum of 18-25 properties fitting their specified criteria, all able to be viewed within a single day.  Using a cooperative approach with multiple area lettings agents, we are able to draw from the property portfolios of London’s major agencies to offer broader coverage as well as assist in negotiating leases and setting up UK bank accounts.

Comprised entirely of expatriates, our staff has a great deal of empathy for our relocating clients and can help “translate” the differences between one’s home country and the UK with regard to the local property market and culture.  2010 in particular has already been a productive year for us, as we’ve expanded our resources to provide more comprehensive relocation support for London expats.

January saw the birth of our very own social network, London Living (www.londonrelocation.ning.com), which is maintained by Colleen Wagner as a casual forum in which existing and future London expats (our "Londonistas") can reach out to one another and offer advice and camaraderie.  We have held two social outings in central London so far and look forward to more this summer!

In April, Mat Paramor joined the London Relocation Ltd. team as our Head of Corporate Services, liasing with our corporate clients as they manage their employee relocations.  Mat is an Australian expatriate living in London who, like our otherwise all-American staff, can identify with the challenges that accompany an international move.  We are ecstatic to bring him and his London property expertise on board to further enhance the quality of our destination services.

We are also working to establish an ongoing collaboration with Melissa Mehta of Impetus Coaching (www.impetuscoaching.net).  A life coach with personal expatriate experience, Melissa's services can pick up where ours leave off to help individuals and/or their accompanying family members achieve self-empowerment during what can often be a vulnerable life stage.

And in the meantime, the fabulous Billy Ray continues to provide stellar client service in fielding all incoming enquiries, and Anthony "AJ" Gallo (owner of London Relocation Ltd.) persists in finding choice flats in the heart of the city for our clients to call their London home.
