Piccadilly Backpackers
London’s most central, award winning and trendiest value hostel

There is also 24-hour check-in. That’s good for strangely-timed arrivals and for people up at all hours, but not always for the people around them trying to sleep. It’s good then that one is given a choice: the dormitory or a private room. The private room is good, while the dormitory can seem a little too active, especially when the occupants have friends who check in during the night.
The showers are free so everyone uses them. There isn’t always hot water ready, and some people leave their things in the bathrooms so they can get cluttered. But the social atmosphere and the safety measures in place really make up for this. Breakfast isn’t five-star quality, but it is decent and free, and the breakfast room is clean and convenient.
The best parts by far are the price and location. Piccadilly Backpackers is close to everything, including the tube lines to get anywhere you can’t walk to. The travel desk was really helpful when we weren’t sure where to stay at our next stop. The staff was always very accommodating and friendly, even though they had to deal with some raucous crowds we saw there.
