Accommodation in London
ahh, finding your very own London flat and sniffing out apartments for London! where to start? well, let’s just say that yes you will meet weirdos and smell smells of dubious origin. you may even get knocked back because of your nationality. but don’t let anything you run into get you down, you will get there.(consider it part of the true living in London experience.)
once you do find a London house to call your very own, you’ll have an absolute blast. we certainly did. wicked house parties, millions of mates sleeping on the floor. we watched crap English TV (and loved it!), cooked really bad food, and hung at our local for what seemed like 90% of the time!
plus we got to live with all sorts of people from right around the world, including Aussies (there’s no escape!), South Africans, Europeans, and of course, those lovely locals, the Brits.
and you’ll have no responsibilities outside paying your rent, keeping your room semi clean and ....yup that’s about it on the responsibilities list, oh wait and calling your mum! (don’t forget to call your mum – it’s just not worth the grief.)
